SOLID.  Textile  is a revolutionary non-toxic super-hydrophobic nanocoating that can be applied as a transparent spray or liquid dip to natural and synthetic textiles. Unlike other hydrophobic fluorocarbon based textile coatings, SOLID.  Textile  is breathable, bio-compatible, completely inert and food safe. In laboratory testing, our textile coating achieved 150 degree super-hydrophobic contact angles on natural and synthetic textiles. In addition, SOLID.  Textile  is resistant to harsh detergents and demonstrates excellent self-cleaning properties with continuous performance up to 30 washes. SOLID.  Textile  is only 100-150 nm in thickness (approximately 800 times thinner than a human hair). SOLID.  Textile  can be applied to fabrics such as: Cotton, Canvas, Suede/Leather Corduroy, Flannel, Poplin, Sailcloth, Sateen, Terry Cloth, Wool, Linen, Fleece or to synthetic textiles such as: Nylon, Polyester, Gore-tex, Microfiber, Acetate, Acrylic, Rayon, Polyblends, Olefin, Polypropylene, Spandex, and many more.

Textile  Surface Preparation: Textile must be completely free of all contaminates including detergents and fabric softeners. To get rid of contaminants, wash using hot water on a spin cycle. Fabric must be entirely dry before application. Drying can be accelerated with heat.  SOLID. Textile is one of the strongest textile coatings on the market!

Application:  Completely saturate fabric by spray or dip application.

Cure time:  This coating completely adheres to the surface after 24 hours. The coating will only exhibit the hydrophobic property after this curing period.

Storage: 2 year unopened shelf life. 3℃ to 30℃

Consumption: Manual/Industrial: 25-100ml/m2 depending on absorbency of the substrate.

Extended Care & Maintenance: Tested up to 30 washes in ideal laboratory conditions. Recommended care is washing in hot water with no detergents or fabric softeners to keep the hydrophobic effect. If a detergent has been used, it is important to rinse fabric with hot water to restore performance of coating.
